Alumni: Welcome Back!

Welcome to the new electronic home of the Michigan State University Student Housing Cooperative's Alumni.

This site is under construction and is likely to change over the coming weeks, so stop by again soon!

Soon you will be able to register on this site and create a profile to interact with your former class- and house-mates. We're working on adding an archive for you to contribute to and peruse. There will be a photo album on which you'll be able to comment and identify fellow co-oppers. There will be a Pine Press (Pine Cone) archive where you can find the articles you wrote (or that were written about you!) There will also be a miscellaneous section which contains various letters, memos, post-cards, and other cooperative memorabilia.

In addition to these electronic endeavors, the alumni program plans to offer a regular newsletter and events such as reunions, tours, and dinners. In the long term, the alumni program hopes to better integrate the past generations of co-oppers with the current membership in order to acquire a better sense of the history of cooperative living.

At this time, we'd like to ask you for some help in the following ways. Our records of who lived with us, when, and where they are now are not very complete. If you have any information you'd like to share about yourself or anyone you know who lived in the co-ops, drop us a line. You could start by seeing if you can name anyone in these photos (one alum helped us with the one to the left.) We'd also like suggestions on what sorts of events you'd like to see in the future and what kinds of features you'd like to see on the website.
